چکیده

With the emergence of databases and Internet technology, the way data is acquired and accessed has changed with more convenient service. After years of evolution, the current IPv6 Internet Protocol (IP) has enabled the user to check any database worldwide by logging onto the Internet whenever you want and regardless of where you are. The load balance or efficiency issue arises when many users overload a server or database. This paper addresses this issue using the anycast characteristics. An active router design is developed to receive the server load information. This information is in turn used to determine the server’s response to solve the load balance problem. Pseudo MIPv6 for Anycast and Fault Tolerance Services

Pseudo anycast mechanism based on MIPv6 protocol stack (RFC3775, RFC3667) [1][4]. By using this mechanism, we can provide the anycast and layer 3 fault-tolerance functions. We will also compare some load balance solutions [1][2] with ours. The potential customers (clients) can utilize the powerful service functions without using any patching work or additional service software.

Anycasting – One-To-One-Of-Many Communication Method in IPV6

On the Internet today, anycasting is used to balance the connection load across multiple Web servers sharing the same content. Anycasting communication is a new “one-to-one-of-many” communication method in Internet Protocol version6 (IPv6) networks. With the help of this technology, it becomes a virtual watch to find the best server, which respond to a request of the client. Due to issues which...

Extension headers for IPv6 anycast

Anycast is a new communication paradigm defined in IPv6. Different from unicast and multicast routing, routers on the internetwork deliver an anycast datagram to the nearest available node. By shifting the task of resolving destinations from source node to internetwork, anycasting is highly flexible and cost-effective on routing process and inherently load-balanced and robust on server selectio...

An Analysis of Anycast Architecture and Transport Layer Problems

The Internet Protocol anycasting communication service has been designed to support service locating to the nearest anycast server based on routing protocol measure of distance for anycast service from a pool of identical service servers. The birth of IPv6 has given opportunity to design and implement anycast service at IP layer, which could not be implemented in IPv4 due to addressing complexi...

A-DSR: A DSR-Based Anycast Protocol for IPv6 Flow in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

IP anycast allows a source node to transmit IP packets to a single destination node, out of a group of destination nodes. It can be an important paradigm for an ad-hoc network in terms of resource, robustness and efficiency for replicated service applications. DSR is a simple and efficient routing protocol designed specifically for use in multi-hop wireless ad hoc networks of mobile nodes. This...
